What I've Been Up To - OASYS and Podcasting

It's been nearly two months since my last update here, but I certainly haven't been idle. With the end of this immensely chaotic semester, OASYS has decided to continue development throughout the summer in order to implement our third major environment and puzzle sequence, during which T1M and the rest of the bots will discover an important secret about the world they live in. OASYS also competed in RPI's GameFest 2020, and while we didn't win, we had a great time showing OASYS to the world and making it freely available at on itch.io here. You can also watch the GameFest promo trailer below!

OASYS isn't the only thing I've been working on, however. During the semester I started up a side project with a few friends called 001 Radio, a podcast covering a few different topics but with a heavy emphasis on the games industry. As of last week, we made this podcast available on all major podcasting platforms here, as well as on YouTube here. While podcasting is quite a bit different from game development, it's been a fantastic way to vary my schedule a bit and take time to reflect and talk about a variety of different things. If you're interested in listening, 001 Radio currently has 11 episodes with a new episode airing at the links above every Sunday.
